Description
A short stretch of Rosebery Avenue between Clerkenwell and Angel in the London Borough of Islington. The New River Head building, originally the site of a 17th century water distribution company which brought water 40km+ into London in an artificial channel (the \"new river\"), later the headquarters of Thames Water, now flats, and its associated laboratory building, a fine piece of modernist architecture, also now flats. Sadlers Wells, London\'s leading dance theatre, rebuilt 15 years or so ago, and the modernist Spa Green social housing estate designed for Finsbury Council (as it then was) by Berthold Lubetkin
