Panorama of Naxos

On a ferry leaving Naxos. The first thing you see is what remains of the Temple of Apollo. Naxos is the main town on the island of the same name, which is the largest in the Cyclades. There used to be a large tower at the top of the hill on which the town is built, when Naxos was a stronghold of Venice in the 13th C.
